Trust is earned through visible rules and useful ways to challenge us. This page brings together Daily Junction's public standards, reporting routes and current limitations in one place.

It is an index, not a badge or certification. Each linked policy explains the relevant process in more detail.

Editorial standards and accountability

• Read our editorial policy for our approach to accuracy, sourcing, opinion, independence and updates.
• Tell us about a factual error through the correction form. Include the article URL, the disputed passage and a source that supports the correction where possible.

A correction request is not the same as a disagreement with an author's judgement. We assess factual claims against the available evidence. A material correction should be visible; routine spelling, formatting and link repairs may be made without a separate log entry.

Community, reporting and appeals

Our community guidelines apply to comments, live chat, the arcade lounge, quiz leaderboards and other reader-participation areas.

Use Report content or a safety issue to flag abuse, harassment, hate, impersonation, spam, private information, dangerous material or another concern. Content-report tickets are kept out of the support AI workflow and are reserved for human handling. We cannot promise a particular outcome or response time, but a clear URL and description make a report easier to assess.

If your own contribution was moderated and you believe the decision was wrong, open a support ticket with the page or thread, an approximate time and the display name you used. See the Safety Centre for urgent situations and the limits of our reporting tools.

Help, feedback and content questions

The support desk covers Daily Junction, the arcade and the DJPlay app. It has separate routes for:

Ordinary support and feedback tickets may receive a clearly labelled first response from Junction Support AI before a person reviews the conversation. Reports, news tips and correction requests are excluded from that AI response path.

When you create a ticket, the site gives you a ticket ID and an access key in the ticket link. Treat that link like a password. Anyone who has both values may be able to read and reply to the ticket.

News tips and confidential material

The ordinary news-tip form is suitable for story ideas, public records, first-hand observations and leads that do not require a secure channel. It is not an end-to-end encrypted drop box and does not guarantee anonymity.

Do not use the form or ordinary email for material that could put you or someone else at serious risk if exposed. Our News Tips guide explains what to include, what technical information may be recorded and the difference between an anonymous display name and technical anonymity.

Privacy and accessibility

Funding and advertising

Read how we are funded for the relationship between advertising and editorial work. Direct advertising is handled through the advertiser portal and governed by the advertising terms.

Advertiser applications currently include a one-off £5 processing step. It is not advertising credit and payment does not by itself approve an account. The portal and advertising terms provide the current application and placement details. Paid placements should be distinguishable from editorial material.

What this centre does not do

Daily Junction's support tools are not emergency services, law enforcement, legal advice, medical help or a confidential whistleblowing system. We do not claim membership of a regulator, an accessibility certification, an independent impression audit or a response-time guarantee on this page.
